Brown Wave is one of four trails on the southern side of the Forks Area Trail System (FATS), which in all is often considered one of the best mountain biking destinations in South Carolina. This trail gets its name for its roller coaster 'wave-like' whoop-do-doos. Overall the trail is essentially flat, not a lot of climbing or downhill, but as such it flows perhaps the best. Mostly smooth as well, with only a couple sections of rocks to shake things up. All in all, a very popular trail in the FATS network.
